- Age: 7+
* Able to walk 1 km+ on hilly or uneven terrain
- Minimum Number of Participants: 2
* If the minimum number of participants is not met, the tour will be canceled 7 days in advance. Your reservation will be canceled, and you will receive a full refund.
About Meeting Point:
■Pick-up from designated accommodations: 0–15 minutes before the tour start time
■If your accommodation is not one of our designated pickup locations, please choose one of the following meeting points:
① Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Rest Area) “Utoro/Shirietoku”
② Utoro Onsen Bus Terminal *No parking available
*Please be sure to check the reminder email sent two days before the tour for the final start time, meeting time, and guide information.
NOTICE:
1.Please note that the tour may not be available on certain days depending on the salmon run conditions and river conditions, such as high water levels or muddy water.The number of migrating salmon also varies from day to day.
2. A salmon become very nervous with laying eggs near at hand. How to approach rivers, the distance, please obey the instructions of the guide.
3. We do the guide tour rain or shine. Please bring rain wear and rain boots for just in case.(there is no rental boots and wear.)
4. The tour might be cancelled or discontinued because of the bad weather condition.
5. Please do not feed wild animals. When these rules are not adhered to, offenders are subject to punishment under the Natural Parks Law.
6. Please refrain from consuming alcohol immediately before the tour, and refrain from consuming alcohol, smoking during the tour.
7. Pregnant women may not join this tour.
8. Please refrain from using cell phones during the walk.
9. Participants will be picked up from their hotel in UTORO area 15 minutes prior to the tour. Pick-up service is handled by SHINRA.
